Your hosts Kevin Olsen and his wife, Yacha, welcome you into the surf house to experience a true surfing holiday in Hossegor. Former native to South Africa, Kevin, is a professional surfer and coach with 10 years of experience in professional surfing.

The surf camp is perfect for the wave hungry surfers to come and explore the world class waves and miles of beautiful and sandy beaches of Hossegor, Capbreton and Seignosse. Great accommodation and a chilled-out atmosphere is what the camp has to offer.

Location

The Kevin Olsen Surf House is situated on the Golf d'Hossegor, near the centre of Hossegor town, Europe's surf mecca, and is a traditional SW french style surfing home.

The Surf

Hossegor in South-West France is Europe's surf mecca and is rated by the world's best surfers as Europe's most consistent wave. This is the place, if you want to enjoy the good surf and the lifestyle that the SW of France has to offer, play golf, meet new people and much much more.

Every year, Hossegor hosts 3 international surfing (ASP) events and is also home to the European surf industry in Soorts/Hossegor which is 30 minutes North of Biarritz Airport.

Created by surfers for surfers, the Kevin Olsen Surf House offers a haven for the travelling surfer extending the Aloha spirit to surfers of all levels of ability. With the in-house surf school, they offer surfing lessons and professional coaching with video analysis sessions, equipment hire and advice, while also providing an insight into the French beach culture. They will take you to all the excellent surfspots nearby....

Accommodation

The house has a spacious living room which opens up onto the terrace with hammocks over-looking the golf course and is a great place to enjoy BBQ evenings while surrounded by large pine trees and loving people sharing their surf stories.

The living room has large comfortable sofas and a chill room with music, videos and DVD's for your entertainment. They provide WIFI also.

The chill zone has video coaching facilities for touring groups and teams and outside there are areas for stretching/yoga with a full-on training course for physical strengthening exercises and a mini football field.

Kevin Olsen is internationally known for his flamboyant freesurfing style and his positive out-look to surf coaching. For the past 10 years Kevin has traveled around the world surfing and coaching with the best surfers on the world tour.

From surfing competitions on the world tour to training pro surfers to instructing individual surf courses, Kevin can provide you with top quality surf instruction. Kevin is a British Surfing Association (BSA) qualified surf instructor and has a current beach lifeguard qualification.
