BELLS BEACH, Victoria/AUS (Tuesday, April 2, 2013) – Adriano de Souza (BRA), 25, claimed the 2013 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach presented by Ford over ASP Dream Tour rookie Nat Young (USA), 21, in clean three-to-five foot (1 – 1.5 metre) waves at Bells Beach today.
South Africa’s Jordy Smith (Durban), 25, who posted three of the top 10 single ride scores and four of the top 10 heat tallies during the event, placed third overall after dispatching rookie Felipe Toledo (BRA) in a quarter-final match-up this morning before suffering an agonizingly close loss to eventual winner de Souza in their semi-final encounter.

From July 10th to 14th, the Roxy Pro Biarritz will be hosting the elite of women’s surfing, for the only European stage of the 2013 ASP Women’s World Championship Tour.
Now an essential date on the tour calendar, the annual ROXY PRO welcomes the stars of the shortboard to its home in the majestic surroundings of the Basque coast. It’s an event not to be missed, and a chance for Roxy to celebrate women’s surfing, share its philosophy on life with the public, and of course organize a whole line-up of free concerts and entertainments in a party atmosphere.
Out on the waves, the crème de la crème of women’s surfing will be led by the formidable Australian duo: Stephanie Gilmore, five-times World Champion, and Sally Fitzgibbons, three-times Vice-World Champion.

April 1, 2013 – South Africa’s Jordy Smith, 25, continued to dominate the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach presented by Ford competition today, posting 18.27 points in Round 3 and 19.10 in Round 4 (both scores out of a possible20) to advance directly into the quarterfinals of Stop No. 2 of 10 on the 2013 ASP World Championship Tour (WCT).

RVCA Junior Surf Series crowns champions in classic waves at Jeffreys Bay
The final day of the inaugural RVCA Junior Series enjoyed classic one metre waves peeling all the way down the legendary Lower Point and providing the perfect canvas on for the cream of South Africa’s aged 20-and-under surfers to express their creative talent as they duelled for titles in seven age divisions, over R100 000 in cash and prizes along with points on the Pro Surf Tour rankings.
