Location

Red Frog Villas is located in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, perched on a hill overlooking the ocean on only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Santa Teresa has a tropical, paradise flavour together with a decidedly international feel. The relatively new influx of tourism to the area and of people in search of the wellness lifestyle, has contributed to this wonderful mix of an "island vibe" and "cosmopolitan living."

HOW TO GET TO RED FROG VILLAS:
BY CAR: Drive from San Jose to take the Ferry in Puntarenas. After 1 hour you will be on land again at Paquera. Then drive to Cobano and continue to a crossing with a sign left to Santa Teresa.
BY AIR: Tambor airport is only 30 minutes driving from Santa Teresa. There are 2 airlines that fly down twice a day. We can book a taxi to pick you up.
BY BUS: This is only 12 $ per person. From San Jose there is a direct bus twice a day to Santa Teresa which takes 5 hours.
IN SANTA TERESA ITSELF: Coming in town, take a right at the crossroad. About 600 meters further you will see the 'Red Frog Villas' sign.

The Surf

Santa Teresa is a wave rich area and seen by many as one of the best surf places in Costa Rica. This area boasts a wide variety of world class breaks suiting surfers of all levels of competency and preference.

If you are a longboarder or a novice then you can head to the main surf beach of Playa El Carmen. This break has a few good sand bars which produce some nice lefts with slightly longer right handers.

If you are looking for something a bit more challenging then head further north towards Playa Santa Teresa where you will also find less crowded waves for your enjoyment.

THE HOUSE (6-9 persons )
This 2 floor luxury house with 3 gorgeous bedrooms sleeps 6 to 9 persons. There are also 3 well appointed bathrooms and a large, stylish and comfortable living area with cable TV. Enjoy the ocean views from the hammock and balcony.

SUITES ( New )
These 2 level luxurious suites will be available from early 2012 and are located on another lot further up the road. They will boast a fully equipped separate kitchen, an open floor upstairs and air-conditioning. At 200 meters above sea level these suites offer one of the best views in the area and here you are just 1.3km from the center of town.

If nature is your thing you can take one of the tours to the villages of Montezuma or Costa Rica's oldest nature reserve, Cabo Blanco.
