Location

Puri Dajuma Cottages is located 70 km from Bali International Airport. This means a one-and-a-half-hour drive along a scenic road through rice-fields and coconut and banana plantations with a view of the ocean guaranteed to "take your breath way"!

The cottages and resort are located on the beachfront with oceanviews, situated around a small cape close to the fishing village of Pekutatan, surrounded by two sandy beaches directly accessible from your cottage. If you like swimming in a safe and natural environment, you will be delighted by the softness and cleanliness of the sea. At low tide, the cape is accessible over a distance of 200 meters and becomes a real paradise for fishermen and children who want to discover the marvelous underwater life.

The Surf

The volcanic promontory on which Puri Dajuma cottages are built is like a ship's hull whose bow waves give rise to some of the most beautiful surf breaks. Those waves actually break off well-known Medewi shoreline, a few hundreds meters from your own cottage.

Crowds up there are ok, due to the distance from Kuta you have to travel. Also, because there are no night clubs for the party crew. You will also find the locals very friendly in and out of the surf. It is definately a long workable wave, but you won't find to many tube sections up there.

Accommodation

The Puri Dajuma cottage complex makes up a small village run by a two families from Indonesia and Europe. It was designed, built and furnished by adventurers and travelers who gradually gained experience in accommodation and cultural discovery from countless trips worldwide. As such, most of the key guarantees of safe, comfortable and relaxing holiday are in place, in addition to the special emphasis on integration with the local landscape, culture and mentality.

Each Cottage has a small private garden and provides high-caliber furnished accomodation, built in typical Balinese architectural style.

The cottages are solid structures that open onto a private patio that houses the bathroom and an open-air shower. There are 9 Villa's or 18 cottage rooms ( each Villa consists of 2 cottages ) and it's possible to rent a whole Villa for families and friends by opening up the interleading door.
Each Cottage is private and the front terrace was designed to make sure that you can enjoy off-shore sunsets and sunrises, thanks to the cape's superb location.

- On the way from the bungalows through the hotel's tropical garden, you may drop by the restaurant, which serves the best in regional and international cuisine, the spa and its relaxing water massages, and then you can go for a laze on the incredibly beautiful beach.

- A large 20 x 10 m overflowing swimming pool fed directly by pure, crystal-clear water drawn from a 40-meter well awaits you and for the kids, a 50-cm deep wading pool will be their favorite playground. Should you feel more inclined to get some rest, 3 traditional Balinese "gazebos" are at your disposal for unique siestas or massages and the sunken swimming pool bar will offer you a selection of the region's most exotic cocktails.

- All the cottages are decorated with nice Ubud paintings and equipped with air conditioning, free internet, telephone, fan and a refrigerator.

- Laundry: a well-equipped laundry will take care of your washing needs and make your stay as comfortable as possible

- Security: Everything has been thought of so as to make your stay with us as safe as possible. Several security officers are on duty around the location 24 hours a day and safety-deposit boxes are at your disposal in the lobby.

The Menjangan National Park is acknowledged as one of the world's richest submarine parks thanks to its fantastic diversity of coral and fish species. Located on Bali's northern coast, the park is only an hour's drive from your cottage and certainly worth while visiting.
Not only is it remarkable for its tremendous variety of fish species, it is also situated in the protective shadow of the Javanese volcanoes a few kilometers past the Bali Strait, midway between the sea, the semi-arid island and the sky, and offers a landscape of stunning contrasts.

CULTURE-LEISURE

During your stay with us, you will be offered several tours covering most facets of Balinese culture, including the traditional Legong and Kecak dances, the Gamelan orchestra, the marvelous temples of Tanahlot, Rambut Siwi and Ulu Danu and, the gem of the collection, the Ubud artistic centre with its unique paintings. These will all lend enchantment to your exploration of this part of Indonesia.

For the night birds, we propose a relaxing tour of Kuta, combining a romantic candle-lite dinner on the beach with shopping in fancy boutiques and disco dancing at the famous Bali Hard Rock Café.
