Location

PSH is located on the beach, in one of the top surfing beaches in Lima-Peru, San Bartolo; on the South Panamericana Highway (35 minutes of Lima). PSH invites you to get to know San Bartolo - Peru. From the terraces you will see an amazing panoramic view of the bay, the Pacific Ocean and one of the best waves in the South: "Penascal Point".

San Bartolo has excellent weather during the whole year, with 10 km of different surf breaks to suit every ability.

The Surf

The Penascal Surf hotel is located on a very important beach in the Peruvian Surfing World, where there has been taken National and International surfing and bodyboarding contests. It's considered internationally as a top quality wave (the whole year) and has appeared in many surfing magazines editions.

Penascal
Famous wave, located right of the Surf Hotel, breaking to the right with a 6 - 12 feet average. This wave is considered a classic wave and it's not recommended for beginners.

Los Muelles
It's located in front of the Surf Hotel. There are two beautiful reefs in front of the piers that consistently form waves (2 - 7 feet), breaking left and right. It's recommended with big or small surf conditions, and suitable for beginners.

El Huayco
A beautiful secret break. Radical waves are formed peeling left. Specially good for aerials and floaters (4 to 10 feet).

Santa Rosa
A beautiful left that brakes only in big surf conditions (over head).

Pea Rosa
(Secret Spot) An excellent left wave. Breaking only with North Swell (from Hawaii).

Other nearby surfspots are Punta Rocas, La Isla, El Paso, Pico Alto, Seoritas , Caballeros, Arica...
