Natural Surf Lodge is perfectly located on a short drive from the beach, shops and action, which you can reach with the lodge van, lodge bikes or your rental car...

Remember that most shops are closed between 12 and 15 pm ...

At the end of a 10-minute drive, you can find yourself in the midst of Hossegor nightlife and The Natural Surf Lodge is only 35 km from the highlights of Biarritz.
The Basque country, the Pyrenees and Spain can be reached within a one hour's drive for day hiking or cultural festivities, whenever surfing is not possible.

The Surf

In France you can enjoy the south west surf culture and its natural lifestyle from Hossegor to Biarritz.

The Natural Surf Lodge is the ideal place to surf the beach breaks of the french south west coastline on a short distance from the beach... : they choose the best surfing spots regarding ocean conditions as well as tourism picks : off season surfaris in Seignosse, Hossegor, Capbreton down to Hendaye while in high season they settle on the quite and charming beach of Les Casernes. They also have an eco-friendly surf hut awaiting you, right on the beach ...no rush, stay all day, surf and chill out!

Accommodation

Natural Surf Lodge can accommodate 15 people in total. When you book one of the Packages, you will be accommodated in the Lodge, a mini-apartment or the bungalow.

The bungalow is mainly for couples who may like to join the group at times, but who also want a level of independence. It has one double-bedroom and its own shower-room and toilet.

The mini-apartments (for 2-4) have 2 beds downstairs and 2 upstairs on a mezzanine level. They are for groups of friends or families willing to share their interest in surfing and nature. Each room has its own shower and toilets.

The Lodge is the best place to chill out and enjoy. The communal areas like the kitchen, bbq area, video corner, pool table, and the SPA with warm hydro-massage pool can be used anytime.

Also available are : bicycles, canoes, and a rowing boat to discover the lakes and forest of the neighbouring Landes region.

SURF & COOK - 6 nights
- 5 x 1h30 surf lessons from Monday to Friday - 5 dinners and 4 local cooking classes with the Chef of the local restaurant nearby - Extras : Oxbow beach bag offered and a set of pics to engrave your best surf moves - Optional: Food and Wine Pairing: one evening each week, the Chef and a vine specialist (sommelier) teach you how to find the harmony between wine and food.

SURF & WELL BEING - 6 nights

Facilities

Located 1 minutes walk from the beach of Hossegor sud, 3 minutes walk from Centrale Hossegor (ocean front with restaurants, bars, night clubs, but also La Nord surf spot and La Garvière - experienced surfers only !).
10 minutes walk  from Hossegor down town (surf shops, supermarket etc…).

Hossegor appartments are freshly renovated and fournished with all comfort (washing machine, dish washer, TV/DVD etc...)

Top flat Hossegor, 2 to 7 persons
60 square meters flexible sleeping organisation + 30 square meters terrace :

- 2 private double rooms,
- alcove with 1 single bed
- one living room/lounge with double convertible sofa
- one bathroom

Wooden deck and terrace with outside shower, sunrise orientation.
Private parking (no problem to park even in the summer time).

Bottom flat Hossegor, 2 to 4 persons
36 square meters flexible sleeping organisation with :

- 1 private double room,
- one living room/lounge with either 1  double convertible sofa or 2 single convertible sofa.
- one bathroom.
- fully equiped kitchen.
- Private parking (no problem to park even in the summer time).
- Wooden deck and terrace with outside shower.

Surf School

As a complete beginner (or if you have tried out surfing once or twice before), you need to learn how to handle a board without hurting yourself or people around you, how to paddle in balance and catch white waves, pop up on the board and standing up in the foam as long as possible...

As an intermediate surfer you have surfed for some time (few years of inconsistent surfing practice). You can duck dive. You can catch and ride unbroken waves but you feel static on the wave. You will learn how to catch some speed to actually move your board on the wave and intensify your carves (bottom turn, roller, cut back) and feel feet pressure onto the board.
Video support will be a good tool to lead your progress.

As an advanced surfer you have been surfing regularly for numerous years. You probably ride a short board or ride a longboards as a short board. You are not afraid by waves of raisonable height (6' and over) and want to challenge yourself with different types of breaks (powerful beach breaks, point breaks...). You are looking for surf guiding more than surf lessons to discover jowels that basco-landaise coastline has to offer.

SURFING EQUIPMENT
The Natural Surf Lodge offers a quiver of over 80 boards, for all levels (beginners to advanced surfers) and all styles.

The Restaurant

For your meals you can choose the option that works best for you:

* an organic continental breakfast is always included in the packages !
* for lunch and dinner you can use the spacious kitchen in the communal area as well as the outdoor BBQ.
* or you can order diner in the restaurant for 10€
* you can go out the local restaurant Les Roseaux with a great view on the Etang Blanc (White Lake) and delicious traditional menu choices.

Please mention if you require vegetarian dishes @ the restaurant.

On the beach, from June to September, Franck is awaiting you in his snack bar, opposite the surf shack and offers a selection of sandwiches, "crapes", icecreams, hot and cold drinks to help you take advantage of a non-stop surfing day at the beautiful beach of "Les Casernes".
