Location

The Flor Blanca villas are nestled into spectacular flora and peak out to the Pacific in Santa Teresa. All are near the sea and the DELUXE units plus THE SURF HOUSE are positioned at the ocean front of the property.

The Surf

All villas have incredible jungle feeling with lush gardens creating a very private living and are less than a minute from the surf !!!

Accommodation

Florblanca offers you top luxury and is recently in 2008-2009 refurbished... the new linens make you want to stay even longer...

The 7 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom deluxe and superior villas are nestled into the jungle and designed with a quiet elegance that highlights local arts and crafts. Each individual villa offers privacy while peaking out through the colorful tropical vegetation. Each one features a spacious open air living area with comfortable seating, complete with a hand-made Costa Rican hammock for two, hanging at the dramatic opening to the lush jungle greenery. The bathroom is creatively designed in a garden setting and the air conditioned bedroom is fitted with a king size bed adorned with luxurious linens. The second bedroom in the two bedroom villas has two twin beds and a day bed.

Our Deluxe Villas I and II are situated with a direct view to the beach and present stunning views of the beautiful Pacific, just a minute's walk away.

Villa 11 our "Honeymoon House" offers ultimate privacy, personal beach access, a full kitchen for dedicated chef services if desired, a beachside palapa for napping. The upstairs king bedroom windows open wide to the nearby surf from a floral canopy deck.

Activities

The remoteness of Florblanca is much of its charm. Getting there can be part of the experience, but well worth the famous Costa Rican road travel. Given they are out there on the peninsula they provide many activities on campus with full time, university trained guides for nature hikes, horseback tours, sea adventures and more.

Lovers of yoga and Pilates will celebrate the oceanfront yoga center and free daily classes overlooking paradise. Fishermen, bikers, joggers, horseback riders alike will fall in love with this wonderful place.

They offer many outside tours to waterfall and canopy destinations including inshore and offshore fishing. They also offer you quiet time for reading, walking and sunbathing. The concierge service is available to you anytime to arrange outside tours, transportation, confirm flights or offer special needs of laundry, in room service, outside reservations,...

Free bikes, beginner surfboards, boogie boards and fins, and snorkel gear are yours to use.

The central club house, built with the finest hardwood, is located beachfront and surrounded by a diverse array of tropical native vegetation and stunning ocean views. Inside the club house you will find an exquisite bar, comfortable dining area and our resident French Chef preparing magical flavours catering to even the most refined palates. The lounge area overlooks the pristine pool and over 100 meters of private secluded white sand beach.

The intricate network of stone walkways carves paths through the still wild surrounding ecosystem leading you to your private and secluded bungalow.

Florblanca also has a world class fitness center and the Bambu Spa that has no equal on the coast. A full menu of spa services awaits you at Bambu. Long term guests will discover more activities on site and on excursion than they will find time.

Surf House

The SURF HOUSE is situated next to Villa I, with a spectacular ocean front view that will take your breath away. It's the most casual and laid back space at Florblanca.

This newest accommodation has been converted from a private Costa Rican home and offers you 3 airconditioned bedrooms, 1 room with two single beds, the other room with a kingsize and the last one is equipped with two single daybeds. One of the rooms has a small lounge area and large fridge and all rooms open up onto the ocean with the sound of the rolling waves, birds and monkeys. There is 1 bathroom with a shower and also a sunken bathtub outside. You can relax in the spacious outdoor lounging space with beach chairs and hammocks.

The Surf House sleeps up to 6 people and is ideal for a family or friends to share and can be combined with the Villa next door for bigger groups.

All of the amenities at Florblanca are available to guests that stay in the Surf House including room service, the Bambu spa, swimming pool, Restaurant, Tours services, maid service, laundry etc.

Restaurant

The Nectar Restaurant is set in outdoor Balinese style architecture, all open air and ocean facing. The culinary schooled chefs specialize in fresh fish, organic produce, favouring Pacific Rim cuisine but all of your favorites for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are there. The sushi menu is known throughout the region as the very best, and the open air bar is a meeting place of many worlds.

They offer many options of group or private dining, by the ocean, the pool, the bar, in your room .... The restaurant service is exclusive for the residents and their guests; it is not open to the public.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served a la carte, and the menu changes every day to ensure fresh foods. Fresh drinks, cocktails and wine are always available in the clubhouse.

Spa

Welcome to Spa Bambu, new since 2009. We invite you to experience our sanctuary of body renewal. Spa Bambu is a space unique in all of Central America and is awaiting your visit.

Designed by San Jose architect Jean Garnier, suspended over peaceful waterfall filled pools, and shaded by natural flora, Spa Bambu takes you to those soothing places of your daydreams.

From our aromatic reception, to our open sky dressing space, to natural bamboo encircled treatment rooms, all of Spa Bambu is here for your relaxation, recovery and comfort. Our therapists are highly skilled and their greatest desires are to please you with the ultimate in body re-nourishment and care.

The spa is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm and we encourage you to make your reservations early at the concierge desk or even before you arrive at Florblanca.

Spa Bambu offers a selection of body treatments, aesthetics, facials, wraps, rubs and scrubs. In addition we offer combined treatment packages and special couples sessions. We hope you find your favorite comfort while you are here with us and you will return time and time again.

The giant Jacuzzi is for your use before or after your appointment and is for spa guests only, not a public Jacuzzi. Slip in and let the moments go by under the bamboo sheltered sky.
