Overview

Location

Dodo Lodge is located on the main road in Saint Leu, Reunion, with the beach and surf on the other side. You will be on only two steps from the lagoon and close to Saint-Leu center (bus, restaurants, bars, shops, supermarket…).

Réunion is a department of France, so the best flight connections are from Paris to St Denis, which is a domestic flight actually. The carriers receive subsidies from the French government, keeping fares relatively low. Flights can also be found from South Africa and nearby Mauritius. All the same entry formalities, customs protocols, and currency regulations apply to landing in Réunion, as landing in France.

The Surf

Saint Leu is Reunion’s best wave and has 2 main sections. The second bowl is the most tubular. The water is shallow especially at low tide. The wave is surfable all year round.

Accommodation

Dodo Spot is a small lodge, mainly built in wood with a capacity of 7 bedrooms and 7 studios set around a tiny tropical garden. The facility has parking space on the coast road side.

Bedrooms 1 to 2 persons:
Fan vented bedroom  of 7 m² with 2 single beds.
Common bathroom and terrasse overlooking the ocean.

Self catering 2 to 4 persons:
Fan vented bedroom of 15 to 25 m² with double bed and convertible.
Private bathroom, kitchen and dining area and relaxing terrace.

Breakfast is available on request...
