The Oleada Beach House is very centrally located. Rivas is 30 min, Granada 1.5 hrs and Managua is 2.5 hrs away. Other great surfing beaches are reachable within 30-45 min (north and south).

The Buena Vista Surf Club is next door and the owners want to create a small, (eco-friendly) community of equal spirits and the house blends into the environment.

ACCOMMODATION

The home has a tropical modern style with natural warm colors and a combination of natural materials, like local wood, raw concrete and flatbed rock.  The floor plan (1600 sqf) of the house is spacious, open and comfortable for enjoying the limited time one spends indoors in the tropics.

The house consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Beds can be set-up as doubles ( 2x ) or singles (5x ). The living room, fully equipped kitchen and both bedrooms have sliding doors opening to the terrace which seamlessly extend the indoors out.

The house is built on stilts to be able to enjoy the constant offshore breeze and the elevation makes sure that you’ll have year round ocean views.

Two Brothers Surf Resort is owned and operated by Robert and Susan Gregory in the true spirit of “minimal impact tourism,” promoting conservation and sustainability. They intend to keep their resort intimate, reserved only for a limited amount of guests, lessening our impact on the environment (and keeping the surf line-up minimal!)

Their goal is to plant, preserve and provide for the wildlife and habitat on the mountain, while creating beautiful architecture that does not draw away from the natural beauty of the land.

WHAT TO BRING

Two Brothers has a fully equipped kitchen. Plan to bring food with you. While there are plenty of small, inexpensive restaurants nearby, you’ll also want to have basics on hand. Items available for purchase near Two Brothers include fresh bread, coffee, eggs, fruit, vegetables, beer, soda and chips. A larger variety of food supplies can be purchased in RIVAS at the Pan American grocery and the Pali grocery store.

Two Brothers provides all bed linens.
Be sure to bring your own beach and bath towels.

TRAVEL TIPS

Traveling to and around Nicaragua is an unforgettable experience, and the journey to Two Brothers Surf Resort is not difficult. However, local travel customs and procedures may be different from what Americans and Europeans are used to. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you make your way to Two Brothers:

Plan to fly in to Managua International Airport. Several major airlines fly direct to Managua from a handful of US cities. Generally the best fares are through Spirit, TACA, Copa, and American. Delta and Continental also fly into Managua.

Ideally, plan your trip to arrive in Managua early to allow time to pick up your vehicle, stop for supplies in Rivas, and arrive at Two Brothers before sunset. Two Brothers is located overlooking the infamous Popoyo surf break.

When driving to Two Brothers Surf Resort for the first time, please keep in mind that you’ll want to make the trip in daylight, as the roads will be unfamiliar and filled with potholes. You will be sharing the road with horses, cows, pigs, chickens, motorcycles, bicycles and slow moving ox-drawn carts. There will be few signs, no streetlights, and many people sitting alongside the road at night.

THE SURF

The beach break a few minute stroll to the south ok Colorado’s, is renowned for its fast left/right hollow perfection. To the north of the Casa about a hundred meters, and in sight of the house is Panga Drops. This deep water wave tends to magnify swell size.
