Surf Industry Recognizes the Best of the Surf Industry from 2010 -
The Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) is proud to announce the list of winners for the SIMA Image Awards, which will honor the best of the surf industry from 2010. In its eighth year, the SIMA Image Awards is the only awards program that gives the surf industry the opportunity to recognize fellow surf industry companies for their outstanding contributions to the industry.

Rip Curl went live with its ‘Tip 2 Tip‘ website, finally unveiling the details behind the two-month documentation of its six-month Search project through Indonesia. Rip Curl will unravel a new chapter, a new trip and a new cast of Searchers every week from August 16 to October 6, posting a unique video episode every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, along with photo galleries and a diary of stories from each voyage.

Billabong launched a digital marketing campaign featuring a surfing microsite and contests. They worked with boutique interactive agency Design Royale on the “I Surf Because” campaign’s creative and digital components. I checked the site a week ago and was blown away , well done, Â probably should be awarded “surf advertising campaign of the year”. Yes, I reckon it’s that good !
