Location

Beija Flor Resort is located in Malpais de Cobano, 2 kilometers south of the crossroads in Playa Carmen.

The Surf

The region of Playas Mal Pais, Santa Teresa and El Carmen is known as one of the best surf destinations in Costa Rica.

Consistent reef and beach breaks offer great surfing for anyone - from beginners to experts. Mal Pais incredible coastline, its warm waters and relaxed surf town atmosphere as well as its various beachfront nightlife locations complete a perfect surf vacation.

Beja Flor together with Adrenalina Surf Camp, will gladly organize surf trips, lessons or board rentals for you.

Accommodation

All of their rooms include airconditioning, ceiling fans, private bathrooms with hot water & open-sky showers (excluding Standard Rooms), hammocks and a room safe.

BY CAR
If you should plan your journey by car, be prepared that - even though there have been a lot of improvements lately - the roads in are partly not tarred and famous for their potholes. They strongly recommend a 4x4 so you can travel worry-free on the Costa Rican roads. Possible car rentals include Alamo and Budget.

BY PLANE
There are two different airlines that offer their services within : Sansa and Nature Air. For timetables and prices you can go to their homepages or you can also contact the managers of Beja Flor, who will be happy to help you with your reservations. The flight takes about 25 minutes and they can arrange a taxi transfer to Beija Flor Resort for you from the airstrip at Playa Tambor.

BY SHUTTLE
They also can arrange a shuttle transfer from San Jose or other destinations in Costa Rica. Please contact Beija Flor , to check in for prices and reservations.

BY PUBLIC BUS
In San Jose there is a direct bus from San Jose departing from La Coca Cola Bus Station in San Jose Downtown every day, 2 times a day. Beija Flor can provide you with the schedule.

Restaurant

Just a few months after opening the doors, the restaurant is already famous in the area for its spectacular menu. They can seat up to 36 guests with additional space in the pool lounge.

Lunch, beautiful candle-light dinners, a selection of excellent wines and cocktails all can be enjoyed daily from 12am - 12pm.

If you would like to host a special event at the restaurant, please let them know it advance and hey gladly arrange it for you.

WI-FI internet access is available in the Restaurant and pool lounge area.

Spa

The Spa is an open-air parlor hidden between palm trees in the tropical garden. Just as the therapists come from different backgrounds, they offer a wide variety of therapies and esthetics:

Spa Therapies: detox, wrap, ...

Yoga Retreats

Beja Flor organises fantastic Yoga Retreats and Workshops.

Treat yourself to a yoga retreat for 7 days and 6 nights at the modern luxurious Beija Flor Resort. Surrounded by tropical gardens you can fill your days with yoga classes, spa treatments, surfing, snorkeling, nature excursions and much more.

Each day you will have the opportunity to indulge in gourmet organic meals freshly prepared three times a day by the world renowned chef.

The Yoga Deck can also be found in the garden. It allows the guests to smell the tropical plants surrounding them while they breathe deeply in their asanas.

Mainly based on Hatha yoga, the classes are for all levels. The teacher concentrates on the needs of the student and adjusts her classes accordingly. She also has experience with teaching families and finds the perfect balance between relaxation for the parents and entertaining yoga for the kids.

They will arrange individual classes anytime the clients wish in Yoga, Pilates and Kung Fu ($55 + $20 per person).
