Location

The Beaujolais Apartment is located in a very nice 24 hour gated secured complex in West Beach within 500 meters walking distance of the Blouberg Beach with great restaurants and shopping facilities around, like the West Port Square Shopping Center. West Beach is a modern new section of Blouberg and the Beaujolais accommodation nestles in the heart of this suburban area.

Blouberg is one of Cape Town's favourite spots for activities like surfing, windsurfing, kite-surfing, boats and jet skis.  It's from here that you have the most famous views of Table Mountain and the city on the other side of Table Bay.

All sights of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula and wineries or golf courses can easily be reached by car from this accommodation. Cape Town's city centre and the V&A Waterfront are just a 20 minutes drive away and the International Airport is about a 30 min drive.

The Surf

Cape Town is one of the coolest cities on this small planet and to make it even better, it has great surfing too. Make sure to bring a warm wetsuit though, as the water can get cold.

The biggest advantage of surfing on the tip of Africa, is that you can surf on the East Coast or the West Coast, depending on the swell and wind direction. Surfing in Cape Town also offers a very wide range of breaks, offering longboard beachbreaks for novice surfers to some of the finest big wave options internationally, like Dungeons in Hout Bay.

Winter months (June - August) generally offer the best waves, with the most swell being pushed in by huge storms between Cape Town and the Antarctic. South Africa and Cape Town is without a doubt one of the world's most wave rich areas, making it one of your "must go" surf destinations.

Accommodation

The secure and modern Beaujolais Apartment is for rent with 2 luxury bedrooms and 1 bathroom, accommodating 4 people in total. It's perfect for your leisure or business holiday and stylishly furnished with all the comfort you might need.

The main bedroom has a Queen size bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds. The bathroom contains a bath and a separate shower.

You can enjoy the LCD Satellite TV (DSTV), a DVD player and leather couches in the lounge. The kitchen is fully kitted containing a fridge, freezer, microwave, hob, oven, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and dishwasher. From the balconies with table and chairs, you can enjoy the views and fresh air and there is a communal pool you can use at any time. Free wifi is included !

There is parking in front of the apartment. All linen and bath towels are provided.
Smoking and Pets are not allowed.

Activities

Cape town is the premiere destination for tourists heading to South Africa,  with so much to do in the area, it is no surprise. In the immediate vicinity of your accommodation you can find more than enough to do:

A short walk/drive away you can head down to Blouberg Beach or Big Bay and enjoy restaurants, whale watching (May - December), shopping @ West Port Square Shopping Centre and many vibey bars and clubs.

If golfing is your bag then you can head towards the nearby golf clubs such as the Atlantic beach Golf course or Milnerton Golf course.

Wine tasting ? Cape town and South Africa is the home of the oldest wine industry in the world outside of Europe. This combined with the scenic beauty of the area makes the "Cape Wine Route" one of the best experiences of this nature in the world.
